Hailing from the birthplace of house music, Chicago, John Summit has been doing his city proud since 2017 with a string of chart-friendly house-oriented releases. Born John Schuster on 29 July 1994, the DJ and producer stepped out with his debut track “Girl” in 2017, released on Build It Records. After building up momentum on the scene over the next few years, in 2022 he graced the Top 40 with "Sun Came Up," a collaboration with Sofi Tukker, also making waves that year with the singles “Human"—which raced to number one on the US Dance Radio charts—“La Danza,” and “Don’t Forget My Love.” 2022 was a significant year for John Summit, who launched his own talked-about label Off the Grid in March. 2023 saw the release of new single "Fade Out" featuring MKLA. In 2024, he dropped his eagerly anticipated debut album Comfort in Chaos, which featured singles such as “EAT THE BASS” and the juddering, Sub Focus and Julia Church-featuring "Go Back."
