John Tejada is the heir to Detroit's historic techno scene, symbolized by Derrick May and Juan Atkins. The Austrian, who lives in the USA and has Mexican-American roots, has a flawless track record that began in 1998 with Little Green Lights and Four Inches Fader. Little known to the general public, John Tejada has become a benchmark for techno specialists and players. From Daydreams in Cold Weather (2002) to Logic Memory Center (2004), his albums are always events. After Fabric 44 in 2009, Parabolas is the 2011 treat for fans of techno stripped of its electro trappings.
