Johnny Kidd & the Pirates

Behind his buccaneering panoply - boots, belt and black eye patch - Johnny Kidd (born London, December 23, 1939 - died October 7, 1966) was much more than a talented British rock'n'roller. With his band The Pirates, he led what is recognized today as the first modern English rock group. " Shakin' All Over" (1960) is a song that will live long in the memory.
