Joosuc

Joosuc (박주석) is a South Korean rapper and hip-hop pioneer, known for his impactful contributions to the Korean hip-hop scene since 2000. Born on October 30, 1978, in Seoul, he debuted with the EP Only The Strong Survive in 2000, followed by his first full-length album, Beatz 4 Da Streetz, in 2001. Throughout the early 2000s, Joosuc played a key role in shaping the underground hip-hop movement with albums like Welcome 2 The Infected Area (2002) and Superior Vol.1 This Iz My Life (2003). His sharp lyricism and dynamic flow earned him recognition as one of Korea’s most influential rappers. After a brief hiatus, he returned in 2010 with All Or Nuthin, proving his continued relevance in the evolving hip-hop landscape. Over the years, he has worked with various labels, including Happy Robot Records and Queen Entertainment.
