The son of a pastor, Texan Josh T. Pearson first made a name for himself as part of the Lift to Experience trio, before going into exile in the desert, then in Europe. After years of wandering, he released his first solo album, Last of The Country Gentlemen (2011), whose pared-down, down-to-earth folk earned him both critical acclaim and the unwavering support of a public won over by this long-bearded, melancholy guitarist.
