A versatile Mandopop singer, actor, and dancer, Ju Jingyi (born in Suining, Sichuan on 18 June 1994) gained prominence as a member of the Chinese idol girl group SNH48, making her first public appearance in September 2013. After spending the next few years honing her musical skills with the group, she branched off into acting in 2016, making her debut in the fantasy drama Novoland: The Castle in the Sky. The following year, she quit SNH48 to pursue a solo career, working under the Star48 moniker, and issued her debut solo single, "Rain," that December. Continuing to lend her focus to both acting and singing, she won the Best Actress award at the China Canada Television Festival Award in 2018 for her performance in the historical drama Legend of Yunxi and entered the Forbes China Celebrity 100 list for the first time in 2019. That year marked the release of her third album Love Emergency Report while a trio of singles arrived in 2020: "Winter Day," "Love Hasn't Ended," and "Song of Chasing Light." She released the single "Past Perfect" in 2021 and "0.2" in 2022.
