Brazilian actress and singer Juliana Silveira was born March 12, 1980. She was just 18 when she landed her first television part in the show Pedro Capital. She worked steadily for the next few years and gained fame when she joined the teen soap opera Malhação playing the part of Julia Miranda. Her music career began with her next part, Maria Flor Miranda, the lead role in the television series Floribella, a musical variation on Cinderella aimed at children. Silveira became a star with youngsters, and the program’s aggressive marketing campaign resulted in a pair of soundtracks, 2005’s Floribella and 2006’s Floribella 2, as well as a pair of live albums. The show ceased production in 2006, but her acting career continued steadily well into the 2010s. In 2018 she released the single, “Um Gesto de Amor” a winning pop song.
