Kahi

Kahi, born Park Ji-young on December 25, 1980, is a South Korean singer, dancer, and actress, best known as the former leader of the girl group After School. She began her career as a backup dancer for top Korean artists, including BoA, DJ Doc, and Lexy, before joining the R&B girl group S.Blush in 2006. Despite the group's brief success, Kahi shifted her focus to forming After School, debuting with the group in 2009. She played a key role in shaping their concept and success while remaining their leader until her departure in June 2012 to pursue a solo career. Kahi released her first solo mini-album Come Back, You Bad Person in 2011, showcasing her talents as a vocalist and dancer. In 2013, she followed up with her second mini-album, Who Are You?, further solidifying her solo presence. Apart from her singing career, Kahi also ventured into acting, appearing in the popular drama Dream High 2 and the musical Bonnie & Clyde. Following her departure from After School and Pledis Entertainment, she became a prominent dance trainer on the survival show Produce 101.
