Kang Seung-yoon (January 21, 1994), aka Seungyoon or Yoon, is a South Korean singer-songwriter and actor, best known for being the lead singer of the boy band Winner. Born in Busan's Haeundae District, he began playing classical guitar after a social anxiety disorder made him drop out of high school. In 2010, he rose to fame after finishing in fourth place in the reality music competition Superstar K2. "Instinctively," his debut single, arrived later that year and soared to the top of the Gaon Singles Chart. This success caught the attention of media giant YG Entertainment, who quickly recruited Kang Seung-yoon as a trainee. In the following years, he made his acting debut on the sitcom High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged and continued to raise his profile with singles like "It Rains," "Wild and Young," and "Stealer" while undergoing an intensive training period with YG. Subsequently, Kang Seung-yoon became the leader of the Winner idol group, assembled through the reality show WIN: Who Is Next?, releasing three studio albums, three EPs, and twelve singles between 2014 and 2020. Preceded by the single "Iyah," his long-awaited studio debut Page finally arrived in 2021 and reached Number 3 on the Gaon Albums Chart. It was followed by the single "Born to Love You" which entered the South Korean Top 200 at Number 194 later that year.
