Kate Voegele's main distinguishing feature is that she was the first artist to be signed to the label that grew out of the MySpace community site. Her music and voice are easily interchangeable with Michelle Branch, Avril Lavigne or Miley Cyrus. Her 2007 album, Don't Look Away, managed to charm and reach No. 27 on the Billboard charts. Kate Voegele, with her pretty face and nerdy looks, will have to consolidate her talent with a second, more personal and more consistent album.
