Real name Pauline Le Caignec, singer KCIDY began playing the piano at the age of 7, and studied classical music and jazz until her teens, when she also discovered guitar and drums, and became interested in composition. She joined the Conservatoire de musiques actuelles in Lyon, where she developed her musical project KCIDY, then in its infancy. She then joined the group Satellite Jockey, with six members, including four sound engineers. Then, in 2016, she formed the all-female post-punk pop trio Tôle Froide, with whom she toured for four years and produced two albums. Never one to be muted, the KCIDY project enabled her to explore a baroque and atypical pop universe, which first gave birth to two EPs, then to a debut album entitled Lost In Space. After the collective project Kcidy a dit in 2019, she released the album Les Gens Heureux in 2021, followed by her third opus, Quelque Chose de Bien, in 2024.
