Kesi

The Danish rapper Oliver Chambuso is best known by his stage name Kesi. Chambuso emerged quite early onto the international grime scene when he began uploading material onto his own YouTube channel. His popularity was picked up by the major labels and in 2011 he was signed to Universal who released his debut album 'Bombs Over Centrum' the following year. The album was a surprise hit and reached number ten in the Danish charts, establishing Chambuso's status as one of the most prominent members of a rap collective from the Nørrebro district of Denmark. In 2013 Chambuso's follow-up album 'Ung Herteg' was even more successful and reached the top five, and in 2014 the artist had his first number one when the single 'Søvnløs' topped the charts. During the next few years leading up to 2019 Chambuso had a string of successful singles including three more number ones and an album 'Barn af byen' which reached the top three in 2015.
