Kidd Voodoo, born David León on October 9, 2001, in Maipú, Chile, is a rising urban artist known for blending reggaetón, trap, and emotional lyrics about heartbreak. Starting his career in 2016 with the indie rock band Resonancia Etérea, he transitioned to urban music during the pandemic, debuting solo with "Olvidarme" in 2019. His breakthrough came with tracks like "Minnie," reaching almost 40 million streams, and "Tas Texteandome" alongside Katteyes, which garnered 20 million views on his channel in just seven months. In 2021, Kidd Voodoo expanded his reach through collaborations with artists like Felp22, Drago200, and Young Cister, before releasing his first EP Pa los Sátiros, Vol. 1 in 2022. The following year, his hit "Fashion Girl" and the track "Tú me mientes" featuring DrefQuila solidified his place in Chile's urban scene. Known for songs that mix danceable beats with themes of love and loss, he continued evolving his sound in his debut album Los Rompecorazones, Vol. 2, released in February 2024, featuring 11 tracks that highlight his versatility and emotional depth, proving his commitment to music and growing influence in Latin urban genres. 2025 saw the release of Satirología, Vol. 3, which found him collaborating with Los Bunkers and De La Ghetto and reconnecting with his previous band Resonancia Etérea.
