Kim Boa, a South Korean singer-songwriter, emerged as a prominent figure in the music scene first with the girl group SPICA and later as part of the duo KEEMBO. Boa debuted with SPICA on January 9, 2012, with the mini-album "Russian Roulette." Despite her initial success, the group disbanded in 2017 under B2M Entertainment. In 2020, Boa and Kim Bohyung, another former member of SPICA, formed KEEMBO. The duo made their official debut on April 10, 2020, with the digital single "Thank You, Anyway." Following her group activities, Boa ventured into a solo career and released her first digital single "Write & Draw" on July 7, 2023. Her discography as a solo artist grew quickly, featuring tracks like "Acid Dream," "Bloody," and "Love Around Me," all released in 2023, followed by "Blossom," "Trick," and "Weekend" in 2024. She released "When the Rain Stops" From Light Shop in 2024.
