Kim Nam Joo

Kim Nam-joo, born on April 15, 1995, in Seoul, South Korea, is a singer and actress known mononymously as Namjoo. While attending Seoul Performing Arts High School, Kim made her debut in 2011 with the South Korean girl group Apink, performing on their debut EP Seven Springs of Apink, singing tracks like "I Don't Know" (몰라요; Mollayo) and "Wishlist." She is also part of Apink's sub-unit PINK BnN alongside Yoon Bo-mi. After establishing a parallel career as an television and stage actress, Kim made her solo debut on September 7, 2020, with the release of her first single album Bird, which reached number 8 on the Korean charts. In May 2022, Kim made her musical debut in the popular stage show Midnight Sun as the female lead, collaborating with fellow stage member Onew, on the track "A Melody Called You (너라는 멜로디)" and releasing "Will Such A Day Come? (그런 날이 오게 될까?)." On March 19, 2024, Kim unveiled her second single album titled Bad, which peaked at number 14 on the charts.
