kimikara is a Japanese female idol group, formed in 2023 by Takayuki Tonegawa, the head of Wicky.Records and a music producer and songwriter, as the second idol group of the same production company. The group debuted as a seven-member group consisting of Hoshimiya Honno, Nishino Ami, Tsukiji Asu, Hiiro Yui, Shiraishi Nako, Momose Ruru, and Amamiya Sayu, but Hoshino and Nishino left during 2023, Hachimitsu Uni joined in November, and Hiiro left in late May 2024, leaving the group with five members. In February 2023, the group made its debut with the first single "Kininal! In March, they released "You & Me Song," which was the audition song for the formation of the group, and continued to distribute digital singles. Their first album "You're My Sunshine" was released, and on May 21, they made their first CD debut with the single "Sukikisuki.
