Kissin' Dynamite

Kissin' Dynamite is a rock band from Germany founded in 2007. The band was founded in 2002 by the brothers Ande (guitar) and Hannes Braun (singer) from the school band Blues Kids. Jim Müller (guitar), Steffen Haile (bass) and Andi Schnitzler complete Kissin' Dynamite. Stylistically, the band plays hard rock, glam rock and heavy metal. AC/DC are among their major role models. After initial demo recordings, Kissin' Dynamite signed a record deal with EMI at the end of 2007. The debut album Steel of Swabia is released in 2008. Its successor, Addicted to Metal, made its first chart entry in Germany in 2010 at number 91. After Money, Sex & Power (2012), the breakthrough came with the next album Megalomania in 2014. The longplayer climbed into the top 20 in Germany at number 17. The follow-up Generation Goodbye reached number 14 in Germany and number 59 in Switzerland in 2016. In 2018, Kissin' Dynamite made it into the German top 10 with the album Ecstasy at number 7. The album reached number 52 in Austria and number 30 in Switzerland. In the same year, Kissin' Dynamite received the Metal Hammer Award for Best German Band from the music magazine Metal Hammer. It takes until 2022 before another studio album, Not the End of the Road, is released. The longplayer jumps to number 2 in Germany and reaches number 53 in Austria and number 13 in Switzerland. In July 2024, Kissin' Dynamite achieved their first number one success in Germany with the album Back with a Bang! A first number one success in Germany. In Switzerland, the longplayer climbs to number 11.
