KK's Priest

Hard rock supergroup KK's Priest stormed the scene in 2019, led by ex-Judas Priest six-stringer K.K. Downing and his merry band of metallers comprising ex-Judas Priest members Tim "Ripper" Owens (vocals) and Les Binks (drums) as well as guitarist A.J. Mills (Hostile) and bass player Tony Newton (Voodoo Six). Singing from a similar thrash metal hymn sheet as Judas Priest, the group released their first single, "Hellfire Thunderbolt," in early 2021 and consolidated their sound on the full-length follow-up, Sermons of the Sinner, which climbed to number four on Billboard's Heatseekers chart as well as charting in several European countries. The band's second LP The Sinner Rides Again arrived via Napalm Records in September 2023, mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen.
