Yukie Yamamura, aka Ko Shibasaki, is an actress from Tokyo who has many Japanese television and film credits and won several domestic acting awards since her debut in 1998. She also appeared in the 2013 blockbuster '47 Ronin'. She launched her musical career in 2002 with the single 'Trust My Feelings' and in 2003 the track 'Nemuri Renai Yoru wa Nemuri Ranai Yume o' topped Japan's Oricon Singles Chart. She has released several tracks since then including two that reached number two on the Oricon Singles Chart - 'Katachi Aru Mono' (2004) and 'Kage' (2006). She has released concert DVDs, compilation albums and studio recordings. 'Mitsu' (2004) went to number two on Japan's Oricon Albums Chart, 'Kiki' (2007) reached number three, 'Love Paranoia' (2009) number two, 'Circle Cycle' (2011) number three, 'Ko Utau' (2015) number 12 and 'Zoku Ko Utau' (2015) number ten.
