Krasnoe Derevo is a Russian rap and hip hop band founded by Mihail Krasnoderevschik (Egorov) in 2001. He released his first tracks at the Dots Family Records compilations called Hip Hop Kvartal in 2003. The first solo album Krasnoe Derevo had been recorded in 2005 featuring Anton Shilo (‘Krovostok'), Rustaveli (‘Mnogotochie’) and others. Krasnoderevschik left the Dots family after the first record and took a hiatus to dedicate his time and energy to his business. He came back to music in 2011 with the album К.И.Д.О.К (K.I.D.O.K) before taking a break for another 7 years which ended up with the track «Осень 2018» ("Autumn 2018") and a new album Год дикой собаки (The Year of the Wild Dog) in 2019. The most unusual track from К.И.Д.О.К is «Сынок» ("Son'"), a touching guitar rap ballad dedicated to singer's son. Hard music, an aggressive image, criminal and protest-themed lyrics is a distinctive style of Krasnoe Derevo mainteined by Mihail Krasnoderevschik through all his music career. The singer describes his music style as ‘highly social reggae chanson’.
