Kuinvi

Kuinvi is the stage name of Valentina López, an Ecuadorian singer-songwriter and producer based in Miami, Florida. Born on April 22, 1994, in Quito, she began her formal music education at the Franz Liszt conservatory when she was just 6 years old. In 2010, she became the youngest Ecuadorian artist to have a song to her name with her debut single, "Love You Again." After graduating from the renowned Berklee College of Music, Valentina López recruited Grammy-winning producer Diego Acosta for her studio debut My Turn (2013), which yielded the hit singles "Believe" and "Guardian Angel." The success of the album launched the singer-songwriter to fame and allowed her to open for international pop sensations such as Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato during their Ecuador shows. In the following years, Valentina López veered towards Latin pop music on releases like "Miénteme" and "Mil Colores," both issued in 2015 and recorded with Presuntos Implicados' Nacho Mañó behind the console. She would also establish herself as a successful producer, landing credits on Becky G's Esquemas and Paty B's Goteo in 2022. That same year, she began releasing music under the Kuinvi moniker. "Dos Horas," one of her 2022 singles, went viral after being included in the Netflix film 365 Days: This Day. Follow-up single "Mykonos" with JJ Abel and Daniel Rondon was featured in the sequel The Next 365 Days later that year.
