Heiress to the light-hearted 1980s style of Lio and Elli & Jacno, Japanese artist Kumisolo arrived in France in 2001. The wise student quickly became a mischievous artist with the formation of the trio The Konki Duet, who released the album Il Fait Tout Gris in 2004. Two albums later, Kumisolo went solo. His light electro style, nourished by French and Asian pop, led to the 2009 album My Love for You Is a Cheap Pop Song. Kumisolo followed this up with the Coeur Frag EP in 2012 and La Femme Japonaise in 2013.
