Kymppilinja are a hip-hop group based in Helsinki made up of Niko Lith, Sami Grönroos and Janne Ordén. The group came together in 2004 and in 2006 signed to the record label Kenola Music. The deal resulted in one album, 'Kaupunkilapset' in 2007. That same year they independently released the single 'Kauneinta'. It was nominated by Finnish radio station The Voice for Official Summer Hit of the Year 2009 and when the follow-up album 'Valmistaudu olemaan väärässä' arrived in 2010 it reached number eight in the Finnish Album Charts. The second single from the album, 'Minä' charted well, this time getting picked up as The Voice's Official Summer Hit of the Year 2010. 2012, however, saw the group go their separate ways. Ordén signed a solo recording contract with Sony while Lith and Grönroos joined up to make electro pop in the group Milfloul. In 2018 Kymppilinja made a comeback, releasing the single 'Aallot' and playing festivals across Finland.
