Real name Louis Ambroise Germain, French rapper and producer La Fève was born in Paris on June 26, 1999, and grew up in Fontenay-sous-Bois, in the Val de Marne. With his childhood friend Dunbdy, he began rapping at the age of 16, releasing short mixtapes on social networks such as the trilogy Nocturnes and the diptych Paresse. After releasing three tracks, "Lady D", "La Foudre" and "L'Affamé" in early 2020, he then teamed up with producer Kosei, with whom he released the 9-track album Kolak, also in 2020. A year later, he added to his discography with the Errr project, which was a great success, particularly thanks to the singles "Belek" and "Mauvais payeur", which was produced by Demna and samples Hollow Knight, a video game from 2017. In 2023, after collaborating on several tracks with artists such as Kekra and Alpha Wann ("Ingé son") and Skefre ("Comme moi"), he released the single "Loyal", which expresses his feelings about success. The track anticipates the release of the album 24, featuring Takiola, Yung L.A., Zequin and Knucks. After appearances on tracks by Lala&Ce and Kalash Criminel, La Fève unveils the album Biglaf (2024), which reaches No. 3 on the SNEP album chart in France.
