La Fève, real name Louis Ambroise Germain, is a French rapper and producer born in Paris on June 26, 1999. He grew up in Fontenay-sous-Bois, Val-de-Marne, where he began rapping at the age of 16 alongside his childhood friend Dunbdy. He began by releasing short mixtapes on social networks, such as the trilogy Nocturnes and the diptych Paresse. In 2020, he released the tracks Lady D, La Foudre and L'Affamé before collaborating with producer Kosei on the 9-track project Kolak. A year later, he released Errr, a project acclaimed for the singles Belek and Mauvais payeur, the latter sampling the video game Hollow Knight. In 2023, after collaborations with Kekra and Alpha Wann(Ingé son), he released the single Loyal, prelude to the album 24, featuring Tiakola, Yung L.A., Zequin and Knucks. In 2024, La Fève unveils the album Biglaf, which reaches 3ᵉ place in the SNEP chart, while continuing with the Empty the Bin compilation series. A major representative of French rap's new wave, he distinguishes himself with a style that blends trap and cloud rap, accompanied by soaring productions and introspective writing.
