Born in Morocco, rapper Lartiste borrows his pseudonym from the role of Tom Sizemore in Michael Mann's film Heat . After a first EP, "Évasion", self-produced in 2006, and the Rap 1.9 mixtape in 2010, Lartiste was signed by Hostile Records (EMI) for his first full-length, logically entitled Lalbum. His collaboration on Rim'K's "Déconnectés " in summer 2014 was followed by a second album, Fenomeno, released in March 2015. A year almost to the day, his successor is released: Maestro benefits from the collaboration of Lefa and Clayton Hamilton. Six months later, at the end of 2016, the fourth album Clandestino was released. As popular as ever, the Franco-Moroccan artist released Grandestino in 2018, followed a year later by Quartier Latin, Vol.1.
