Last Dinosaurs

Australian indie rock band Last Dinosaurs formed in Brisbane, Queensland in 2007. Comprising Sean Caskey (lead vocals, guitar), Lachlan Caskey (lead vocals/guitar), Michael Sloane (bass), and Dan Koyama (drums), the group quickly gained attention with their debut EP Back from the Dead in 2010 after lead single “Honolulu” went into high rotation on Triple J. Influenced by artists like The Strokes, Phoenix, and Two Door Cinema Club, their first full-length album, In a Million Years, released in 2012, received critical acclaim and featured hit singles like "Zoom" and "Andy" with the album itself reaching number 8 on the Australian charts. In 2015, they released their second album, Wellness, which hit number 18, featuring tracks like "Evie" and "Apollo," followed by Yumeno Garden, in 2018, which charted at number 26, led by "Dominos" and "Eleven." Their bittersweet fourth album, From Mexico with Love, appeared in 2022, spawned a massive six singles, including “Collect Call” and “Look Back” and the band returned in 2024, releasing two mangas alongside fifth album KYORYU, which made its way to the Top 100 Hot Songs JWAVE charts in Japan.
