Leo Ieiri is a Japanese singer-songwriter and actress known for her multiple tie-ups with anime series and TV dramas. She was born on December 13, 1994, in Kurume, Fukuoka. Inspired to pursue music at 13, Leo Ieiri moved to Tokyo in the spring of 2011, where she balanced her high school education with her musical pursuits under the guidance of renowned record producer Yoshihiko Nishio. She made her debut on February 15, 2012, under Victor Entertainment. "Sabrina," Leo Ieiri's first single, served as the third ending song for the anime series Toriko. Her debut album Leo, released later in 2012, peaked at number 2 on the Japanese charts and was certified gold. She was awarded the New Artist Award and Best New Artist Award at the Japan Record Awards in 2012. She was also proclaimed the Asian Artist of the Year in Japan at the 2014 Mnet Asian Music Awards. That year, her track "Silly" was used as the main title for the TBS Friday drama "N no Tame ni," winning the Television Drama Academy Awards for Best Theme Song. She continued to build on her success with subsequent albums, including A Boy (2014), 20 (2015), We (2016), Answer (2020), and Naked (2023), with each new album showcasing her evolution as an artist. In 2024, she released the live album NAKED ~TOUR 2023~, a collection of live performances from her 2023 tour that peaked at number 56 on the Japanese Top 100.
