Léopold Nord & Vous

Léopold Nord et Vous is a Belgian pop group formed in 1983 by the three (out of five) Mansion brothers, Alec, Benoit and Hubert. The single "C'est l'amour " was released in 1987. It sold a million copies, reached number 2 in the French Top 50 and was certified gold. Alec is asked to co-write Amour, amour with Plastic Bertrand to represent Luxembourg at Eurovision. This was followed by several singles, "Les Hippopotamtam" (1988), "Des Filles et du Rock'N'Roll",(1988). The group did not return to success, but a compilation of their singles was released in 1994, under the name C'est l'album . 2009 saw the release of Bruxelles-Toulouse, a maxi single recorded with Jean-Pierre Mader.
