Les BB

Composed of Patrick Bourgeois on vocals, guitar and bass, Alain Lapointe on keyboards, guitar, bass and backing vocals, and François Jean on drums, Les B.B. are a trio from the province of Quebec. They enjoyed great success in the late 1980s and early 1990s, notably with their albums Les B.B., which sold over 200,000 copies in 1988 with hits such as "Fais attention " and "T'es dans la lune", and Snob, which did even better three years later, selling over 300,000 copies in 1991 with the hit "Donne-moi ma chance". Previously, they had worked as backing musicians under the name Les Beaux Blonds. In 1990, they were even chosen by Patrick Bruel to accompany him when he performed at the Zénith in Paris. In 1994, their third album, aptly entitled 3, failed to meet with the same success, and the group, seemingly affected by a certain weariness, decided to take a break, each of the three musicians taking advantage of the opportunity to pursue solo activities. In 2003, they met up again on a television set, and with renewed motivation, decided to record a new opus, Bonheur Facile, which was released in the spring of 2004. After a series of concerts, they released the album Univers in 2011, prefiguring the celebration of their 25-year career in 2015 with the album Les B.B. 25 ans.
