Young, dynamic, clean-cut, with bananas blowing in the wind and sneakers on their feet, the Forbans monopolized the airwaves in the first half of the '80s with their naive teen hits, such as "Chante (mets tes baskets)", straight out of the '50s. On TV, they used all the tried-and-tested hillbilly recipes: escalating double bass, drummer standing in front of his snare drum and guitarist-singer rolling around on the floor.
