Country singer and musician Levi Hummon was born on July 1, 1991 in Nashville, Tennessee. The son of Grammy-winning country singer, songwriter and musician Marcus Hummon and Reverend Becca Steves (recipient of CNN’s Hero of the Year), Levi Hummon originally pursued a degree in visual arts while attending college in Florida. Inspired by the alternative scene, he decided to focus on music and moved back to Nashville. He attended Belmont University and worked on his songwriting craft. He signed a solo deal with The Valory Music Co. and released his self-titled debut EP in 2016. After dealing with some issues with his label, he choose to leave and release his music independently. In 2018, he released the single “Love Heals”, which was a collaboration with Alison Krauss. Hummon then released his second EP, Patient, that same year. He toured with major country artists including Tim McGraw, Lady Antebellum (AKA Lady A), and Keith Urban. In 2020, he released the single “Wedding Dress”.
