The Swiss rap duo Lo and Leduc comprises of rapper and lyricist Lorenz Häberli and musician and composer Luc Oggier. Their musical career began in 2005 as members of the four-piece band Pacomé. Using some of the group's surplus songs the two men began to make appearances as a duo and released a series of albums, 'Update' 1.0 in 2009, 'Update 2.0' in 2010 and 'Update 3.0 fin de siècle' in 2012. The albums enjoyed modest commercial success and helped build up a fan base for the duo's work. In 2014 the two friends released their fourth album 'Zucker fürs Volk' which featured the singer Dodo on some of the tracks. Although the lead single from the album 'All die Büecher' only reached number 42 in the charts 'Zucker fürs Volk' suddenly became the surprise Swiss album hit of 2014. Within a week of release, it reached number two and remained in the charts for the rest of the year before re-entering the top ten in 2015 after the second single 'Jung Verdammt (Condemned Young)' had entered the top three in the singles chart. The album garnered a trio of Swiss Music Awards and firmly established the duo as mainstream Swiss pop and rap artists. They have now released a total of six studio albums.
