Lo'Jo

Originally named Lo'Jo Triban, the Angevin group Lo'Jo is a musical collective formed around singer and pianist Denis Péan, specializing in world music. Since its creation in 1982, the group has offered a vast panorama of different influences, from gypsy music to traditional French folk and African inspirations. He regularly performs with dancers and street theater companies, and has taken part in several film soundtracks. After albums such as Mojo Radio (1997), Bazar Savant in 2006 and Cosmophono in 2009, Lo'Jo's singular fusion of genres reaches a new plenitude on Cinema el Mundo (2013). The following year saw the release of 310 Lunes, bringing together instrumental versions following the reissue of 2010's debut album The International Courabou . In 2017, the band released the album Fonetiq Flowers, followed by Transes de Papier in 2020 and Feuilles Fauves in 2024.
