Although the Spanish singer Lola Indigo has enjoyed a relatively brief career as a singer, her connections with the music business go back to her teen years when she started out as a dancer. During this period she worked across Europe, China and the USA appearing with artists such as Miguel Bosé, Enrique Iglesias and Chris Brown. Born in Madrid as Miriam Doblas Muñoz on April 1st, 1992, she began her singing career in 2017 as a contestant on the Spanish TV reality talent show Operación Triunfo. The show brought her to the attention of music fans in Spain and when she released her first single “Ya no Quiero Ná” in 2018 the track went on to be certified double platinum. A collaboration single “El Mundo Entero” recorded with other contestants from the show and the Canadian rapper Maikel Delacalle was subsequently adopted by Coca-Cola for a TV advertisement. Since the success of the single, Lola Indigo has been engaged as a mentor on the reality show Fama, to Dance! 2019. That same year, she released her studio debut Akelarre, which shot straight to the top of the Spanish charts. Following the success of her 2020 single “Santería” with Latin pop divas Danna Paola and Denise Rosenthal, Lola Indigo returned in 2021 with “Calle,” a reggaeton-tinged track featuring Guaynaa and Cauty that reached Number 72 on Promusicae’s chart.
