Israeli indie-pop duo Lola Marsh spice their sound with shards of electro as well as folky guitar and classic singer-songwriter balladry. Comprising singer Yael Shoshana Cohen and producer/multi-instrumentalist Gil Landau, Lola Marsh first came into being at a birthday party in Tel Aviv in 2011, and the group officially assembled in 2013. A breakout performance at Barcelona's Primavera Sound festival in 2014 followed and they were snapped up by Israeli indie label Anova Music. They released their first single, "Sirens," in 2015 with their debut EP, You're Mine, arriving the following year via Universal Records-Barclay. After adding additional members – Mati Gilad on bass, Ran Gil on keyboards, and Dekel Dvir on drums – in 2017 Lola Marsh unveiled their debut full-length album, Remember Roses, and they toured Europe and the US that year, playing various festivals including Montreal Jazz Festival and Sziget. The pair dropped their second album, Someday Tomorrow Maybe, in January 2020, with the video for the album track "Echoes" winning the Best Song award at the international festival Berlin Music Video Awards in 2020. In 2021, Lola Marsh teamed up with Garden City Movement for the single "Summer Night."
