Loona are a hip-hop and R&B-inspired K-pop group formed by South Korean record label Blockberry Creative in Seoul in 2016. The group was unveiled in a 'Girl of the Month' fashion with each member showcased with an individual single and profile outlining their personality and musical profile. After the first sub-unit (Loona 1/3) was announced, they released debut EP 'Love & Live' in March 2017, followed by the repackaged version 'Love & Evil' a month later. With further members joining later in 2017 to form new sub-unit Loona Odd Eye Circle, they released an EP in their own right entitled 'Mix & Match'. Loona were fully formed upon the announcement of their third and final sub-unit Loona yyxy, who added an emphasis on synths and beats. This gave the group their highest chart placings to date - no doubt helped by the musician Grimes featuring on their track 'love4eva' - and recognition in the USA, amidst the nation's growing fascination with Asian pop music. With the group now finally complete, they released their first EP '+ +' in August 2018, building on their success across the globe. The following year, Loona released the single '365', dedicated to their rapidly increasing fan base who wait for and follow them around the world.
