Loote is formed of the New York-based duo of singer-songwriters and producers Jackson Foote and Emma Lov Block. As a child Block wrote jingles for commercials and children's TV. She met Foote in 2014 when they were paired up for an assignment in a college songwriting class. Helped by their teacher, producer Carl Sturken, they began writing songs together. They wrote and co-produced the US platinum-selling 'No Promises' for Cheat Codes featuring Demi Lovato and produced remixes for Mike Posner and Shawn Mendes. As Loote they released debut single 'High Without Your Love' in May 2017 and their later releases include more songs about the nature of love, 'Out of My Head', 'Your Side of the Bed', 'Longer Than I Thought' and 'Better When You're Gone' with David Guetta and Brooks. The duo released their second EP, 'Lost', in 2019.
