Los Hermanos Rosario is a merengue music group from the Dominican Republic, formed in 1978. In 1980, they recorded their first single, "Maria Guayando", which encouraged them to develop a career outside their hometown of Higuey. Their debut album Vienen Acabando! confirmed the band's potential, but in 1983 they lost one of their most prominent members in Pepe Rosario. The Rosario brothers produced some fifteen studio albums up to Aura (2007), the most famous of which remains The Owners of Swing (1995). One of their biggest hits, " Pacadora ", was chosen for the soundtrack of Pedro Almodovar's film Talons aiguilles.
