Louis Sclavis

An unusual poly-instrumentalist (mainly clarinet) and film composer, Louis Sclavis is a leading figure in European jazz and improvised music. Winner of the Django Reinhardt prize in 1988 and a Django d'or in 1993, he is featured on the albums Chine (1987), Ellington On the Air (1992) and L'Imparfait des Langues (2007). 2012 saw the return of the trio formed with Aldo Romano and Henri Texier, and the release of the Atlas Trio album, Sources.
