Louise

Born in London on November 4, 1974, Louise Nurding began acting, singing and dancing as a child at the Italia Conti Academy, where she met Kélié Bryan. In 1992, together with Kélié Bryan and sisters Easther and Vernie Bennett, she formed the R&B group Eternal, which enjoyed international success. However, Louise left the group after the debut album Always & Forever (1993), to embark on a flourishing solo career with the albums Naked (1996), Woman in Me (1997) and Elbow Beach (2000), nine of which reached the Top 10. In 2001, the compilation Changing Faces: The Best of Louise brought another hit with its cover of Stealers Wheel's "Stuck in the Middle with You" (1973). Married to footballer Jamie Redknapp, Louise devoted herself to her family life and put her career on hold until their divorce in 2017. She then revealed that she was working on new songs, to be released one after the other over the course of 2019, before the release of her fourth album Heavy Love in January 2020. The album, produced under her own Lil Lou Records label by Jack Patterson (Clean Bandit), Freedo and Mark Ralph, reaches #11 in the UK and #2 on the independent charts. Back after the Covid-19 pandemic, the singer unveils the Lil Lou and Super Magic: Mixes EPs in 2023, then in 2025 the Confessions album, entrusted to composers and producers Jon Shave, Karen Poole, Tre Jean-Marie, MNEK, Miranda Cooper and Hannah Robinson. The single of the same name reaches number 81 in the charts.
