Louise Nurding enrolled at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London at the age of eleven. There she met Kéllé Bryan with whom she would form the group Eternal. Together with sisters Easther and Vernie Bennett, Eternal released their debut single 'Stay' in 1993 and their first album 'Always & Forever' later the same year. With talks of a second album, Louise decided to pursue her solo career and departed the band before recording any further material. Signing a solo deal with EMI, she released her debut single 'Light of My Life' in 1995. Reaching the top ten of the UK Singles Chart, she followed up with 'Naked' in 1996 with her debut album of the same name. The album reached number seven in the UK Albums Chart and launched Louise's career as a solo artist. Her second album 'Woman in Me' (1997) fared at number five. In 1998 she married footballer Jamie Redknapp. Her third album, 'Elbow Beach', was released in 2000 and although it produced her highest charting single with '2-Faced', the album failed to break the top ten. After two greatest hits albums released through EMI, she signed a new deal with Positive Records, part of Universal Music. While working on her fourth solo album, Louise became pregnant and put all music on hold. In 2017, after splitting with her husband, Louise revealed that she was working on new material. After a one-off show in London to promote her new music, Louise signed with Warner Music, with her fourth album, 'Heavy Love', released in 2020.
