L.S. Dunes

L.S. Dunes is a post-hardcore supergroup whose lineup features members of My Chemical Romance, Circa Survive, Saosin, Coheed and Cambria, and Thursday. The band was formed amidst the various Covid-19 lockdowns of 2020, which prevented vocalist Anthony Green, guitarist Frank Iero, guitarist Travis Stever, bassist Tim Payne, and drummer Tucker Rule from touring with their respective bands. Looking for a new project during their time at work, they began collaborating virtually under the working title "Dad Bods," then adopted the official band name of "L.S. Dunes" in time for the band's debut performance at Riot Fest in 2022. The punk rock music festival was held in Chicago, L.S. Dunes' hometown, and served as a launchpad for the group's career. "Permanent Rebellion," L.S. Dunes' debut single, was released that year, along with the follow-up singles "2022" and "Bombsquad." All three songs appeared on Past Lives, the band's full-length debut, which was released in November 2022 by the independent label Fantasy Records. Co-written by the bandmates and co-produced by Will Yip, Past Lives reached Number 174 on the Billboard 200, as well as Number 21 in Scotland, Number 44 in Australia, and Number 5 on the UK Rock & Metal Albums chart.
