Lucio101

Lucio101 is a Berlin rapper who talks about the hard life on the streets of the capital on dark beats with a deep voice. He has been releasing songs since 2016, initially mainly via social media. In addition to a first EP called C.o.B. (2016) with London rapper Omar101, he released his first collabo album with Nizi19 in 2019. The title 1019 mixes the zip codes of Berlin-Mitte and Charlottenburg. The combination of numbers can also be found in Lucio's label name: 1019recrods. The two songs "Y-3" and "6 Nullen" (feat. Omar101) brought the crew a lot of attention in the hip-hop scene. With his first solo album Mittendrin, Lucio101 made it to number 42 in the German album charts in 2020. He achieved further chart success with individual songs in 2021, including "FAFB" (feat. Omar101), from the EP C.o.B. 2, and with the feature on the Kalim song "Flyy" together with YY. In December 2021, it was announced that the 1019 crew around Lucio101, Omar101, Nizi19 and Karamel19 had signed an exclusive author contract with Universal Music Publishing. With the singles "Hier" (2022, with Ufo361), "Million" (2022, with 1019, Nizi19, Omar101 and Karamel19), "Wittenbergplatz" (2024) and "Black Buffs" (2024, with Kalim), further singles landed in the German charts. The second studio album 101% follows at the end of September 2024. The album climbs into the top 10 in Germany at number 8 and also reaches the charts in Austria (number 36) and Switzerland (number 34).
