Luna Haruna is a Japanese singer and model whose career began when she was a junior high student. Born Aya Itō on 11 October 1991, in Tokyo, she initially gained attention as a model before transitioning to a career in music. She debuted as a singer in 2011 with her single "Sora wa Takaku Kaze wa Utau", which was used as the opening theme for the anime Fate/Zero. Her music is praised for its emotional depth and cinematic quality, with many of her songs being featured in the 2012 anime series such as Sword Art Online, where her single "Startear" was featured as an opening theme in the sequel. She has since released several successful albums and singles, cracking Japan's Oricon chart with 2013's Oversky, 2015's Candy Lips and 2017's Lunarium and singles such as 2015's "君色シグナル" and 2020's "Peace!!!" In 2024, she put out several new singles such as "Comet in the Mirror" and "Eternal Corridor."
