Matthieu Tota aka Matt Pokora aka M. Pokora has quickly established himself as the emblematic figure of French R&B, with his danceable and effective tracks, calibrated choreography and angelic face. Always keen to offer his fans top-quality albums, the former lead singer of the Linkup boy band, born in Strasbourg on September 26, 1985, set himself apart with a distinctive style of dance and song on his first two solo albums, M. Pokora (No. 21 in 2004) and Player (his first No. 1 in 2006). He then enlisted the help of American producers like Timbaland for his third gold disc, MP3 (No. 7 in 2008), followed by European producers for his next, Mise à Jour (No. 4 in 2010), certified double platinum. In 2012, the new teen idol won two trophies at the NRJ Music Awards. The same year sees the release of a new hit album, À la Poursuite du Bonheur, certified triple platinum and ranked #2. This was followed by a triumphant tour and a double live album, À la Poursuite du Bonheur Tour - Live à Bercy (#1). 2013 sees him crowned Male Artist of the Year once again at the NRJ Music Awards. 2015 saw the release of the album R.E.D (No. 1), following his participation in the musical Robin des bois and the collective projects Génération Goldman and Forever Gentlemen. More than a year and another tour later, he covers Claude François classics in a dance version on My Way (no. 1). In addition to his involvement with Les Enfoirés, Mr. Pokora has also appeared on TV as a juror on Danse avec les stars, The Voice Kids and The Voice, la plus belle voix. After his live tour and album My Way Tour (No. 5 in 2017), he recorded his new project Pyramide (No. 1 in 2019), featuring Slimane. In 2022, after a short break, the artist returned with the album Épicentre, which reached No. 2 in the French charts. Adrénaline followed in 2025, featuring his hit "Reflet " and a duet with Ronisia.
