Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on June 4, 2004, Mackenzie Ziegler is a singer, dancer, and actress. She is best-known for appearing for six years on Dance Moms, a reality dance show on the Lifetime network. She also appeared on Dancing with the Stars: Juniors and the sitcom Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, & Dawn. She has a large social media presence with millions of followers on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitter. Ziegler, who is the younger sister of actress/dancer Maddie, has been nominated for numerous awards, winning a Teen Choice Award in 2018 for Choice Muser . Ziegler’s recording career began with the release of her 2014 debut album, Mack Z. Two years later, she collaborated with Canadian singer, songwriter, and actor Johnny Orlando on the single “Day and Night”. Her second album, Phases, was released in 2018. The album included the track “Wonderful”, which was written by Sia. That same year, she released another collaboration with Orlando entitled “What If”. She also teamed up with Orlando in another project in 2018 – the popular teen-oriented web drama series Total Eclipse. In 2020, under the name Kenzie, she released the single “Exhale” featuring Sia.
