Mambo Kingz

The Mambo Kingz, composed of Puerto Rican brothers Edgar and Xavier Semper, are renowned producers who have shaped the Latin urban music landscape with a career spanning over two decades. Starting in the early 2000s, they contributed to seminal reggaetón projects like Masterpiece by RKM & Ken-Y, producing hits such as "Down," and worked on Héctor "El Father’s" iconic album The Bad Boy with tracks like "Rumor de Guerra." Their ability to evolve with the genre was solidified in later years, as they co-founded the influential label Hear This Music alongside DJ Luian in 2015. Their transition to trap urbano marked a new era, producing groundbreaking hits like "La Ocasión," featuring Arcángel, Anuel AA, and Ozuna, and later collaborating with Bad Bunny on tracks such as "Me Prefieres a Mí" and "Tú No Metes Cabra." The Mambo Kingz’ extensive work includes chart-topping collaborations with artists like Karol G, Natti Natasha, Daddy Yankee, and J Balvin, with hits like "Ahora Me Llama," "Sensualidad," and "Bailame (Remix)."
