Marcus & Martinus, also known as M&M, are a Norwegian pop rock duo. Formed by twin brothers Marcus and Martin Gunnarsen in 2012, they first rose to fame after winning the eleventh season of television music competition Melodi Grand Prix Junior. “To Dråper Vann,” their first single, reached Number 8 on the Norwegian Singles Chart. A few years later, Marcus & Martinus returned to the music scene with their studio debut Hei (2015), which topped the VG-Lista Albums Chart propelled by the hit single “Plystre På Deg.” That same year, they released an extended edition of the album titled Hei (Fan Spesial) that included the Top 10 singles “Elektrisk” and “Ei Som Deg.” Preceded by the chart-topping single “Girls,” their first English album Together saw the light in 2016 and quickly made its way to the top of the Norwegian charts. Subsequently, Marcus & Martinus released the album Moments (2017), winning a Spellemannprisen Award in the category of Spellemann of the Year. After dropping the EP Soon in 2019, they teamed up with singer Alex Rose for the 2021 single “Belinda,” which peaked at Number 21 in Norway.
