Born in 2001 in Montreal, Canada, Marilyne Léonard is a pop singer from Quebec. She came to the attention of the general public when she appeared on the Quebec reality show La Voix 5 in 2017. Her most remarkable performance during the contest was her interpretation of Philippe Brach's song " Alice ". She releases her first single in May 2021, entitled " Bateaux ". On May 6, 2022, she released her first career album, Vie d'Ange . She takes part in several festivals during the summer of 2022, including the FestiVoix de Trois-Rivières, the Festival d'été de Québec and the Festival de la Poutine de Drummondville. At the end of October, she releases the song " C'est ma lady ", which is a hit with Quebec radio stations. At the Bell Media Cocktail at the Society for Arts and Technology in Montreal, in November 2022, in conjunction with the ADISQ gala, Marilyne Léonard wins the $10,000 Discovery Grant.
