Shota Matsuda is a Japanese actor and former member of the dance and vocal group AMAZO NIGHT. Born on January 5, 1996, in Tsu, Mie Prefecture, he was active in the group from September 2015 to September 2019 before transitioning into a solo career. In 2022, Matsuda began releasing music as a solo artist, debuting with his first album Piece of Life on February 23. He continued to develop his sound with Picture Frame, released on December 21 of the same year. Throughout 2023, he released a series of singles, including "Masquerade" (June 25), "iris" (August 22), and "Kaleidoscopic" (October 28), showcasing his versatility and evolving musical identity. In early 2024, he dropped his third album, RGB, further cementing his place as a multi-talented artist. Looking ahead to 2025, Matsuda is set to release his fourth album, Setsugetsufuuka, on February 26, promising a new chapter in his artistic journey.
